I have returned, a much changed man of course. The years have been kind to me, and I find myself now in the midst of one of the most exciting moments of my life. However, throughout the years I was never able to forget this small, I supposed ultimately unimportant blog. United Lore as it is has become obsolete. Many blogs have gone above and beyond the goals we had once originally thought. Furthermore, sites like Tumblr, promoting user accessibility as opposed to having greater control of your content. Nonetheless, United Lore was a dream that in my opinion does not deserve to die. What exactly it is that we shall become is uncertain, but it is my hope that this blog may indeed be resurrected. Any who have interest in joining me in this project should email me at chickencowlord42@gmail.com. I pray that this blog will again see the light of day and provide honest, accurate feedback on games, be them Artix games or games of every other sort.

Just as a quick update, Endon will be reviewing the upcoming ArchKnight finale (and be a lot quicker about it than I usually am, if all goes well); we’ll be working together to cover DF releases in the future, at least until Perpetual Enigma returns. You all can expect to find out more about this recent turn of events in the next week or so.

This past week, Riadne and the Ravenloss Weaving Emporium were both released, along with a few holiday necklaces and the beginning of a new DC-only special offer.
…That did not come out the way I wanted. Let me rephrase; a this-weekend-only DC weapon offer. There, that sounds better. DragonFable Engine 9.0 was also released, but I won’t be covering it in this post. For one, it seems that Zeke has beaten me to the task. (See if that happens again!) And for two, there just hasn’t been enough time for me or anyone to fully explore all the new features.

Dragonfable: Critique on the Release of December 11, 2009

On the second week of Frostval, the moglins gave to us… the first new quest of this year’s Frostval chain, the latest in Zorbak’s Legion, and a brand new map of Lore in Serenity’s Inn. Once again, the moglins of Frostvale (and Twilly too) have gone missing, and it’s up to Ice Master Yeti and us to find them before the celebrations are ruined. Meanwhile, Zorbak is looking to ally with the gorgeous Vampire Queen Safiria, but there’s something (else) nasty afoot for the leader of the vampires. Lastly, Serenity’s Inn has received a new map of Lore, replete with almost every destination that we could think of west of Battleon.
