Is There Anybody Out There?

Posted by Chickencowlord on June 30, 2013

I have returned, a much changed man of course. The years have been kind to me, and I find myself now in the midst of one of the most exciting moments of my life. However, throughout the years I was never able to forget this small, I supposed ultimately unimportant blog. United Lore as it is has become obsolete. Many blogs have gone above and beyond the goals we had once originally thought. Furthermore, sites like Tumblr, promoting user accessibility as opposed to having greater control of your content. Nonetheless, United Lore was a dream that in my opinion does not deserve to die. What exactly it is that we shall become is uncertain, but it is my hope that this blog may indeed be resurrected. Any who have interest in joining me in this project should email me at chickencowlord42@gmail.com. I pray that this blog will again see the light of day and provide honest, accurate feedback on games, be them Artix games or games of every other sort.

Twitter

Posted by Chickencowlord on July 27, 2009

Yes. I decided to follow in AE’s footsteps and start tweeting. Considering I don’t really have enough time for full-fledged blogging anymore, I’d like to give quick thoughts on releases without having wasting blog space. I have a…pitiful 1 follower at the moment. Come on now, follow if you please. 😀

Warpforce- Do We Really Need Another Space-Age RPG?

Posted by perpetualenigma on July 15, 2009

I’m just an ordinary fan of Artix Entertainment’s games. I first stumbled upon AdventureQuest on March last year, and since then, have been sampling each of AE’s games like a party crasher does to free hors d’oeuvres at someone else’s gathering. There was one that had a slightly-earthy taste to it; another was rather savory; yet another had a wholesome blandness; the last looked complex, and seemed to be an acquired taste. Jumping back and forth between those four; it was a fun way to spend my leisure time. And then I, the freeloading guest, stumbled across something unusual- a whispered rumor from the chefs of yet another delicate treat to stimulate my gaming palate. Something that was to be a step above the first RPG to be tasted; something that was to take off, quite literally, from its most celebrated aspects: Read the rest of this entry »
