Good points. An addition, why are some weapons which should obviously be color customizable not? For example, the pirate weapons on Lagos. I couldn't actually put the pirate weapons on my pirate mecha, because due to their lack of color-customization, they looked horrible with my mecha. Another example, the recent vampire hunter weapons. Why introduce a color customizable vampire hunter mecha, if you aren't going to make the weapons for it color-custom as well? I want to be able to actually customize my customizable mecha. Bah!

I dunno, I've never had a problem with it, and I hardly consider my self fawning over the place. I do mainly keep to the AQ section, however. And once more, to be fair, flaming, baiting, rickrolling (aside from maybe in OOC), spamming, and off topic stuff (again, except in OOC), is against the rules. :p

To be fair, the black screen for the war boss and cutscene has happened before, and is hardly limited to Korin. (I realize this is a forum poster saying this, but I felt the need to bring it up. :p)

I definatly agree about the elemental embers. How do we get rid of these things now? I have like, 200.

Amen! I've had a few run-ins with mods before, due to my excessive habit of flaming, baiting, posting misleading or just plain wrong information, rickrolling, spamming, and off topic threads. And while I admit I'm over the usual demographic for AE's games, that doesn't mean that I particularly like finding my postings constantly deleted, moved, or otherwise shuffled off. I've done forums from the good old days of pre-internet BBS's, so I think that I have a decent amount of netiquette. I've never seen a board as over-moderated as AE's, and view it as nearly impossible to use due to it. ("The only acceptable posts are fawning fanboyishness" might be the unsaid rule.)

...Because, as we all know, a decent observation about a fundamental flaw in a game is far inferior to "AWSUM NU GAM DUDS!". Frankly it reflects poorly on AE as a company, and leads to banal threads along the lines of the infamous 'What does your mech eat?' thread.

What confuses me, is that they released these wars late in the summer, instead of early. Not to mention having it alongside DF's fire war.

Really? I didn't have much trouble with Reens or Twilly, but the barber and especially Grams handed my posterior to me. Appetite for Destruction felt like a longer quest because you had no way to heal, and by the time I got to the last fight, I was pretty beat up. (Cheshire Twilly proved his worth yet again!)

You know what is worst about the elemental embers? Now that I have half a bajillion, I CAN'T GET RID OF THE WORTHLESS THINGS. Tried selling stackable items in MQ? Pain. I'm running low on slots, and getting rid of the things (without spending three hours doing so) would be nice.
