AdventureQuest Worlds: Analysis of 4/3/09 Release

Wow, am I late or what! April 3rd’s release debuted AdventureQuest World’s first war, against the 1st lord of Chaos!

A Golden Era for UL

Lately, all has seemed lost for UL, but I worry not. In the BoF there are many members, and they all have unique talents. While I mourn the loss of our old leaders, I cannot simply allow something like UL to die. Now begins a new era for UL, a new time of opinions and strength!

Now, let us band together and be strong as we always have. I will still head the AQ analyses, and I will assist with the other three games as well. I have invited Zeke50100 to join us and assist, and he has agreed.

The staff of AE themselves have spent time here, reading our posts, evaluating our views, and they value what we say. I think that we provide a service no others can boast, that we are a guild that bands together and works alongside AE, rather than just playing the games. We are a voice of the people, and I will not let that be silenced by anything, least of all grief over loss.

Chicken and Peanut were the founding fathers of UL, and without them, UL would not be alive today. We cannot forget the time they gave us, nor should we, as we would forget to of the most incredible men ever to grace the AE world. So let us build on their example, let us look to the future and build UL into the greatest that it can be!

The path that lies ahead of us is a long and hard one, and many may tire of it before we’re through. But never forget that we have been around for almost a year, and some of the best members of the BoF have graced us with their insight and praise!

So, leave whatever suggestions for UL you have, here. Worry not little ones, all will be well. For every end, brings just a new beginning.

Vacation

From tomorrow morning until Sunday afternoon/night I will be off to Las Vegas, in icy cold Nevada. As a result, while I will be bringing my all-powerful, all-knowing laptop with an internet connection with me, the odds are I will not be posting in this time, so don’t expect much from me. See you all on Sunday!

Congratulations Barack Obama

I know this is off-topic, but I wanted to give my full congratulations to Senator Barack Obama for becoming the next president of the United States of America! Whether you were a supporter of Obama or John McCain, we should all support Obama as we move on and as he attempts to fix the badly broken United States of America (which was caused by the Bush administration, but that’s for another day ).

P.S. Yes, this is also my excuse for not getting a predictions post up yesterday. Election day first, then predictions… sorry! (Don’t worry, an analysis post will be up later tonight. )

AQW-Talk like a pirate

Can you talk like a pirate? Well i sure can’t… well enough about my inabilities let’s get on to the new release.

The Pirate Ship Area. I find it a fun new edition to AQW. It is a nice change to other quests where you only had to do one quest to get an item. In this you have to complete all of the quests to get the rewards like the Pirate token and the pirate shop. Now that we don’t need the Capt. Rhubarb nametag i wonder what it will be used for? They say it’s going to be for something rare and powerful. Might be a weapon or maybe even a new armor. I give this release a 4/5.

The Gryphon: Dragonfable’s Real Worst Enemy?

The Gryphon in DF has completely ruined what I’d consider to be a major factor in Dragonfable’s diversity from the other games.
